This is important to us
Our school is a catholic primary school in the city of Bonn,
Beethoven’s birthplace.
- Most of the nine classes have mixed age groups.
- The little ones learn from the older children. The older ones learn by teaching the younger ones.
- Every child can work at his own pace and rhythm, eliminating competition.
- Our teachers follow the principles of the progressive education, especially the ones of Maria Montessori.
- The pupils are learning in informal learning situations full of action, for example free-choice activities, work-shops and projects.
- They often use the computer and the internet.

The Children
Right now there are 187 pupils from 17 different nations at our school.
